Where can advertisers safely post an ad in Singapore legally?
In order to prevent illegal postings of ads, some town councils in Singapore have started to dedicate notice boards just for advertisements.
Ads placements at HDB Estates
Take for example in Nee Soon-Sembawang town council, they have about 6000 notice boards installed between the 3 estates in Amiralty, Sembawang and Yishun.
In Bukit Batok central, you can submit 10 copies of A4 size ads before the end of each month. Once approved, your ad will be published at about 8 notice boards near Bukit Batok bus interchange and nearby housing estates.
Ads placements at Bus Stops
LTA (Land Transport Authority) have also dedicated bus stop notice boards for advertisers to place their ads at certain locations. Link HERE
All these measures have proven successful in cutting down the number of illegal ads sticking on public infrastructures like lamp posts, letter boxes, etc.

Besides the above mentioned locations, advertisers can post their ads at Cold Storage and NTUC Finest stores. These are also favorite places to post ads like garage sales, tuition lessons, tennis coaching ,home rental, baby sitter, missing pets, pets adoption, etc.
